Apple on Tuesday released iSync 1.4, the latest version of its popular synchronization software. According to the release notes, iSync 1.4 includes support for the iPod mini and more Symbian OS smart phones, including the Nokia 6600, 3620, 3660 and Siemens SX. The update also offers stability improvements and allows Mac users in Japan to sync over 110 Japanese mobile phones when they purchase a third-party USB cable.

Apple today released iSync 1.3, a new version of its popular synchronization software. According to Apple, iSync now offers “calendar, contact, and to-do synchronization for the Sony Ericsson P900 and P800, as well as the Nokia 3650, 7650, and N-Gage smart phones. With these phones iSync also syncs the Address Book picture to the contact info, so you can see a picture of the caller when the phone rings. In addition, iSync now supports several new Bluetooth phones from Sony Ericsson, the T616, T630, and the Z600.

Apple today announced the release of iSync 1.1, a new version of the company’s synchronization software that lets users automatically sync their contacts and calendars on their Mac with those on their cell phones, Palm OS devices and iPods. iSync 1.1 adds support for over 20 mobile phones from Nokia, Motorola, Sony Ericsson and Siemens, as well as Mac-to-Mac synchronization of Safari bookmarks for .Mac subscribers.

Apple iSync beta now available

Apple today released the beta version of iSync, its application for synchronizing address books and calendars with Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones, PDAs, and the iPod. iSync is available immediately as a free download and requires Mac OS X 10.2.1 (Jaguar).
