Internet Explorer dominates browsers, but slips

According to Web researcher OneStat.com, Internet Explorer was used by 95.3 percent of all Web surfers for the month ended June 21, notes c|net. This is down 1.3 percent from the previous month, due largely to new releases from Netscape and Mozilla. The new Netscape 7.0, currently in preview, captured 0.3 percent, while Netscape’s overall market share climbed 0.6 percent to 3.4 percent. Mozilla 1.0 and Opera rounded out the remaining top spots, with 0.4 percent and 0.6 percent, respectively.
