Unsanity has released Silk 1.0, a haxie which enables the Quartz text rendering and smoothing introduced in Mac OS X 10.1.5 to work in all Carbon applications, including Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla and more. Silk is implemented as an easy-to-use preference pane and is completely free.
