The June issue of Esquire magazine, which has long supported Apple, plugs the company’s wares in its “Man at His Best” column. Among the 23 ways the magazine suggests to “Have fun for under $1 million” is “Make a 30-second ad for yourself using Final Cut Pro 3 ($999) on your brand-new, top-of-the-line Power Mac G4 ($3,849) with a 23-inch flat-panel Cinema HD Display ($3,499), then buy time for it during Malcom in the Middle ($350,000).” More conservative spenders may wish to forgo the Malcom spot.
