Adobe today announced FrameMaker 7.0, a new version of its enterprise authoring and publishing solution that will ship in the second quarter of 2002. The company also announced FrameMaker Server, a new product that extracts existing content housed in databases, document management systems, and XML repositories for manipulation in FrameMaker. FrameMaker 7.0 features Mac OS support — but not Mac OS X — and will sell for $799, with upgrades priced at $349.
