Taiwan-based HannStar Display has announced that it has received an order from Apple to deliver 15-inch LCD displays for its flat-panel iMac, according to DigiTimes, as noted by MacNN. Shipments will begin in May with an initial monthly volume of 10,000 units, which could rise to 30,000 in the future. HannStar joins LG.Philips as the only providers of LCDs for Apple’s flat-panel iMac.
