Olympus today announced theDS-330, a compact digital voice recorder that features a USB docking stationfor easily transferring up to 330 minutes of voice recordings to a Mac orPC. The DS-330 features 16MB of flash memory, a back-lit LCD display, fivefolders for organizing separate recordings, noise cancelling technology forremoving background noise and hiss, support for inserting up to 16 indexmarks per recording, and a Variable Control Voice Actuator (VCVA) thatbegins recording only when dictation actually starts and stops duringpauses. The DS-330 will be available on May 1 for US$149.
