Apple’s iPhoto is among the tools being given to one hundred of the world’s top photojournalists for the “Day in the Life of Africa” digital shoot. The event will send the photographers to different locations across Africa on February 28 with the challenge of capturing a photo that will be chosen for the “A Day in the Life of Africa” book, Web site and travelling exhibition. While thirteen “Day in the Life” books have been published over the past two decades, “Africa” will mark the first time that the event will be produced using predominantly digital photography technology.
