C|net has published an interview with Mort Aaronson, CEO of Aerie Networks, the company that purchased the Ricochet wireless network from bankrupt Metricom. Aaronson reveals that the company will re-implement the network first in California, where the bulk of the 51,000 Ricochet subscribers are located. Additionally, the service will be priced between US$39 and $49 per month, as opposed to the $69 per month price tag that Metricom charged users.
