Without offering much evidence to back up the claim, c|net is reporting that demand for Apple’s iPod is “iffy,” according to a handful of retailers it questioned about the product.

Disney and Pixar today released two new children’s titles based on the upcoming movie Monsters, Inc. “Wreck” Room Arcade Games, four games for kids eight and older that sell individually, and Scream Team Training, for kids four and up, are available on Mac/Windows hybrid CDs. Each “Wreck” Room game carries a US$9.95 price tag, while Scream Team Training sells for $29.95.

PDA sales in Europe dipped 34.5 percent during the third quarter compared to the previous years, according to Gartner Dataquest. Palm was the market leader for the continent, capturing 37.9 percent of all sales.

Bitstream today announced that Apple has entered into a long-term agreement to license some of the company’s 900 fonts. The fonts Apple will use are based on the Kingsley-ATF Type Corporation design.
