Deneba today announced DenebaShare 1.0, a new application that allows a user to easily set up and serve photos from their own computer for friends and family to view over the Web. As the software uses the computer’s Internet connection, it’s best suited for those on broadband connections. Features include easy creation of thumbnail pages, password protection of photos, and encryption. The software is currently available Windows only; Deneba plans to release a Mac OS X version during the first quarter of 2002. Pricing starts at US$29.95 for a one-year subscription.
