Hewlett-Packard will announce tomorrow that it will be acquiring rival Compaq Computer in a deal valued at US$25 billion, according to reports in the The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. The deal will create a computer conglomerate that will rival industry leader IBM in revenues.
