NetObjects Inc., developers of the Web site creation and management tool, has announced that it is ceasing operations and looking to sell off its assets as quickly as possible — as noted by MacNN. The software, which was available for the Macintosh, never really seemed to get a foothold in the competitive Web development market. IBM owns 48% of the company.
