Fuji announces three entry-level cameras

Fuji today introduced three new entry-level digital cameras, the FinePix A101, FinePix A201, and the FinePix 2600 Zoom. The A101 or A201 models are the first in the company’s A-series of cameras, which are designed specifically for beginners. The A101 features a 1.3 megapixel CCD and 2x digital zoom, while the A201 features a 2.0 megapixel CCD and a 2.5x digital zoom. The 2600 Zoom, meanwhile, features a 2.0 megapixel CCD with a 3x optical and 2.5x digital zoom. The FinePix A101 will ship later this month for US$179, while the A201 and 2600 Zoom will sell for $249 and $299, respectively, starting next month.
