Dr. Bott warns that customers using an Apple Studio Display 17″ LCD with the stock DVI graphics card in a Power Mac G4 through its DVIator adapter must follow special instructions for updating to Mac OS 9.2.1, or the display won’t work correctly under the new operating system.
