Apple has released an ActiveX version of its QuickTime plug-in for Windows, which resolves compatibility issues with Internet Explorer 5.5SP2 and the soon-to-be-released Internet Explorer 6.0. Users of either browser can go here to download the new plug-in, if necessary. Apple has also put together a tutorial for Web developers that explains the code they will want to use to have a browser check for the ActiveX plug-in, and direct users to the appropriate place to download it if required.
