Sony today announced the CyberShot DSC-P3 and DSC-P5, two new digital cameras that feature the smallest enclosure to date from Sony. Both cameras take 3.34 megapixel images, while the P3 features a 3x digital zoom and the P5 features a 3x optical and 6x digital zoom. Both cameras will ship in October for about US500 and $600, respectively, and will ship with an 8MB Memory Stick and InfoLithium C battery. An optional Marine Pack, which allows either camera to be used under water, will be available for $250.
