A lengthy and interesting article in the August 3 issue of The Chronicle of Higher Education titled “Despite raves for iBook, tide still turns against Apple” discusses Apple’s mixed standing in higher education and the challenges that the company faces outside of building cool computers. The article, noted by MacSurfer, also cites several examples of schools that have switched from Mac to PC over the years, and that continued trend among other schools today.
