Mac users who wish to synchronize a PocketPC-based handheld with their Mac will soon be able to do so, thanks to a new device from Information Appliance Associations. As noted by MacUser UK, the company has yet to announce pricing or availability, but a form on its site allows prospective purchasers to register and receive more information when it becomes available, as well as $5 off the product when it ships. Despite their higher price tags, PocketPC PDAs hold a solid share of the market that’s otherwise dominated by Palm OS-based PDAs. PocketPC devices are presently more powerful, and offer vastly superior multimedia options.
