Three companies in Europe’s largest economy announced layoffs today. Germany based Siemens AG said it would slice 2,000 jobs from its current workforce of 400,000 — job cuts have totaled 8,100 at Siemens so far this year. Two smaller companies also announced job cuts in Germany today.
