to avoid rumored problems of a Denial of Service attack from the Middle
East on New Years. This DoS attack takes advantage of a feature in Mac OS
9 (for any machine), and Mac OS 8.6 for iBooks, iMacs, and G4s.

patch on any machine that sits on the net.
