devSoft Releases IP*Works! Version 4.0

released the first public beta of the newest release of its IP*Works!
Internet Toolkit, IP*Works! Version 4.0. This new version introduces
a number of new components, including LDAP, IMAP, and SNMP, making
IP*Works! the most comprehensive Internet Toolkit in the industry.
Initially introduced in 1995, IP*Works! is actively used by most
Fortune 500 and Global 2000 companies, as well as thousands of
independent software developers worldwide. The product eliminates
much of the complexity of developing connected applications for

of all competing products put together. Coupled with the excellent

The current beta release includes a total of 22 ActiveX Controls for
Internet Programming in Win32 platforms. This release will be
followed by other editions of IP*Works! Version 4.0 containing native
components or classes for Delphi, C++ Builder, and Visual C++, as
well as versions for other platforms, including versions for Windows
CE and Win16 platforms.
IP*Works! Version 4.0 includes the following components: FTP, HTTP,
ICMPPort, IMAP, IPDaemon, IPInfo, IPPort, LDAP, Multicast, MIME, MX,
NNTP, NetCode, NetDial, POP, Rexec, Rshell, SMTP, SNMP, SNPP, Telnet,
UDPPort. These components encompass all the popular Internet
