Press Release – BugLink Version 1.1.1 Released
For Immediate Release

Glendale, California, January 26, 1998 — The PandaWave is pleased to
announce the release of version 1.1.1 of BugLink, it’s multi- user
bug tracking system for the Macintosh and Microsoft Window.

What is BugLink?

BugLink is a bug tracking system designed to help developers, testers
and managers coordinate their efforts to produce bug free software.
Designed around a modern client/server architecture, BugLink uses a
centralized database to keep everyone synchronized. BugLink is
optimized for slow speed Internet connections, permitting remote
“dial-up” connections. Ideal for tracking problem reports and feature
requests, BugLink also includes BugLink Reporter, a stand alone bug
reporting tool that registered users may freely redistribute to their
clients to simplify bug reporting.

This version of BugLink fixes a problem with initializing Open
Transport on the Macintosh or WinSock on Windows which would cause
PPP to dial the modem when the application was launched. This can be
an annoyance for users who use a dial-up connection for Internet
access, and for those who do not have TCP/IP installed on their
computer.

This version also fixes a number of minor problems. This is a free
upgrade for registered users, and can be downloaded now from
