Troi Automatisering releases Troi Grabber Plug-in 1.0
Alphen a/d Rijn, The Netherlands, November 9, 1998–Troi Automatisering
today announced the release of the final version of Troi Grabber Plug-in
1.0, for FileMaker Pro 4.0 (or later) on Mac OS.
This plug-in gives FileMaker Pro the ability to grab a picture from a video
input source and to put it directly into a container field.
Peter Baanen, company president, states that “The people that downloaded
the beta version had great ideas for it’s use. A lot of people are eager to
start using the Grabber plug-in. We’re glad to be able to offer them the
final version”.
The use of this plug-in is only limited by your imagination. Here are some
of the suggested uses: a webcam database, time lapse pictures, Yoga
database(!), Easy casting, festival- meeting- or conference registration
database, a security database. We’ve added sample databases, including a
new Trade Show example, which shows the plug-in’s ease of use. Also a User
Guide is now included.
The plug-in works with any video input source that is compatible with
QuickTime 2.5 or higher. This includes almost all AV Macintoshes and also
the Connectix (color) QuickCam.
