Tupil has introduced Beamer 2.0, an update to their media streaming application for OS X. The app lets you stream any movie file from your Mac directly to an
Apple TV using AirPlay.

Beamer accepts all common formats, codecs and resolutions. Just open any movie file and press play. Version 2.0 brings a completely redesigned user interface and features such as playlists and better controls.

Beamer 2.0 requires Mac OS X 10.9 and an Apple TV supporting AirPlay (second generation or newer). A limited free trial of Beamer 2, which can be unlocked with an in-app purchase, is available for download now. Beamer licenses cost US$15. Upgrade pricing is available for Beamer 1 license owners. Customers who purchased since October 2013 are eligible for a free upgrade. Go to http://beamer-app.com for more info.
