Verizon sells 4.2 million iPhones in quarter four

Verizon Chief Financial Officer Fran Shammo said the company sold 4.2 million iPhones in the fourth quarter of 2011, reports “StreetInsider” (http://macte.ch/9gwGz). 



The company also sees a 500 to 600 basis point drop on the iPhone moving forward, though a specific time frame wasn’t given, the article adds. Verizon began carrying the iPhone in February 2011.
