Chronos announces ‘biggest upgrade ever’ for SOHO Labels

Chronos has released SOHO Labels 6, which it says is the biggest upgrade ever to the label software for Mac OS X (10.6 and higher). According to Jerry Halls, vice president of Sales at Chronos, major new features include:

° An integrated Layers pane;

° The ability to add customizable reflections to any graphic, shape, or text box;

° Aperture support to the built-in photo browser;

° Support for iPhoto events to the built-in photo browser;

° Support for searching iPhoto photos by name, keyword, date and rating;

° The ability to add Finder folders containing images to the built-in photo browser;

° Support for custom pages sizes for labels;

° Support for label fold lines;

° A new and improved project wizard;

° Support for over 1,000 new label formats;

° Full screen support in Mac OS X 10.7.x (“Lion”).

Also, the Project wizard now shows supported printer models for media stocks when available.

SOHO Labels is a complete kit and includes everything needed to design and print impressive labels, envelopes, and even letterhead. It comes with a) hundreds of templates; b) a collection of matching label, envelope, and letterhead sets; c) 100+ super-masks; and d) a collection of artwork.  SOHO Labels is compatible with over 2,500 label, DVD/CD label, and envelope stocks including those from Avery, PaperDirect®, DYMO, APLI, Formtec and more.
 
A fully functional 30 day trial version can be downloaded from Chronos’ web site at (http://www.chronosnet.com); registration is US$39.99 for a single user license. A family pack is also available for $69.99. Registered SOHO Labels 1.x – 5x customers can upgrade to version 6 for $25.
