Beezwax and FM::Nexus have released Inspector Pro 3.1, an update to the tool for analyzing FileMaker database systems. Now, developers can use interactive data visualization to gain insight into their FileMaker Pro solutions.

Inspector Pro 3.1’s new Mac-only Script Universe and Script and Calculation Trees provide interactive views of database elements. New Security Perspective reports make it easier for developers to analyze database security, according to Vincenzo Menanno, founder of FM:Nexus and Director of FileMaker Development for Beezwax.

Inspector Pro 3.1 requires Mac OS X 10.6 or 10.7 and works with FileMaker database versions 11, 10, 9, or 8. FileMaker Pro Advanced is required for a developer to generate a DDR (Database Design Report) to be used for database analysis.

Inspector Pro 3 is priced at US$495 for new customers and is available for purchase and download through Beezwax Datatools (http://www.beezwax.net). A full-feature trial download is available. Current Inspector Pro 3.0 customers can download the 3.1 update for free via Beezwax Datatools.
