Dolly Drive Scheduler adds more control to Time Machine cloud backup

Cirrus Thinking has posted Dolly Drive 1.6 (http://www.dollydrive.com), an update to its cloud storage for Mac OS X.

Dolly Drive is a subscription software and online storage service designed for Apple’s Time Machine. Version 1.6 adds new functionalities to the Dolly Drive application via a scheduler that adds the ability to change hourly backup frequency, the ability to skip a set time during Time Machine backups, and the ability to set a start time and end time.

The Dolly Drive Scheduler gives the users the ability to backup according to the other demands on the network. This, combined with the speed control, provide “users with the ultimate control over the backup environment and system resources,” according to Mark Ross, director of Client Services, Cirrus Thinking.

Version 1.6 upgrades are available for all Dolly Drive subscribers and will be included in all new Dolly Drive subscriptions. It works with Mac OS X 10.6 and higher.
