Real Software — creator of object-oriented, cross-platform software development tools for Mac OS X, Windows, Linux and the web — is looking for speakers for Real World, the Real Studio User Conference. The conference is scheduled to take place at the Royal Plaza Hotel in Orlando, Florida on May 24-25, 2012.
The conference is designed to give Real Studio users the opportunity to hear from other Real Studio developers and experts on how to improve their knowledge and skills as a developer. Real World will feature a keynote presentation from Real Software founder and CEO, Geoff Perlman, breakout sessions, networking opportunities and social events.
Those interested in presenting Real Studio and software development related sessions are welcome to submit their proposal with their preferred session topic(s) and a brief description, along with the name and contact information of the speaker(s) to realworld@realsoftware.com.
The deadline for applying to speak is Oct. 15, 2011. There are a limited number of speaking opportunities available. Selected conference speakers will receive a 50% discount on the price of registration.
Real World registration will open Sept. 7, 2011. Conference pricing has been set at US$700, with an early registration price of $500 through Dec. 2, 2011. The advanced registration price of $600 will run Dec. 3, 2011 through March 10, 2012.
Those who register for the conference during the early registration period will also receive a 30% discount coupon good for anything in the Real Software store.
