Modern Jewish Cuisine takes the hard work out of Passover preparations by featuring a rich selection of Passover dishes. A special feature of the application is the collection of Passover/Pesach recipes, including a selection of desserts, cakes and biscuits as well as inspiring ideas for mealtimes.
Jamboware has released Generator Jay 1.0 for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. It’s a $0.99, multi-level platform game in which the player must reset each generator to zero degrees, collecting the right combination of hot and cold rocks while avoiding security guards and other obstacles. The game features over 40 levels, Facebook integration and a global leader board with OpenFeint support.
James Hollender has introduced Notify Friends About My Bargain 1.0, a $0.99 iOS app to notify friends about a bargain that’s been found. Users are able to set up in advance default email addresses, and images can be collected from the photo albums or taken directly with the camera and much more.
Moving Target has launched VideoMask 1.0 for iOS. The $0.99 app allows users to create a mask out of any image, then record a video through the mask using their own eyes and mouth. Images can be loaded from the photo library or taken with the camera. Several masks are included to get started. VideoMasks can then be saved to the photo library or shared from within the app via Email, Facebook and YouTube.
Macsoftex has debuted National Gallery, London 1.0 for iOS. It’s a $0.99 app that gives the user access to a searchable collection of 1,195 aintings from the collection of the National Gallery in London. Representing the works of more than 400 world-renowned artists, it includes masterpieces from the 14th through the 20th centuries. Users may download HD versions of any work, or receive ultra high-resolution files of any painting via email, at no additional cost.
Christful Apps has published The Easter Story, a $3.99 animated eBook for the iPad. The Easter Story is the second book in the “Many Years Ago Bible Stories for Young Children” series.
MojoCar has driven out MojoCar Client 1.0, a free transportation app that allows users to book cars throughout the New York City metro area from an iOS device, or on MojoCar online. When a client books a ride in advance, the request goes out to all drivers within the MojoCar citywide network. Drivers then compete for the job by submitting bids in real time.
Eisham Networks has updated Qbox Plus for the iPad to version 1.2. The free app invites players to solve over 1,500 different quotes of wisdom spanning over three eras. The plus version adds improved graphics, longer game play and multiple game modes in various levels of difficulty.
Cristi Habliuc has announced How Drunk 1.2, an update of the $0.99 iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The app allows you to track your drinks as you go, constantly updating the calculated blood alcohol content, based on what you’re having. It even alerts you when you become sober or when you’re under the legal driving limit so you can get back home in your car.
Apalon has updated Pimp Your Screen 1.2, an update to the $0.99 customization app for iOS devices. It allows users to customize the way their devices look and set various home screens, app shelves, neon combos and other eye candies. Version 1.2 includes a new Lock Screen Maker feature.
Mr. Moo has released Tap2Cap 1.2 for iOS, an update to their $0.99 photography app that allows users to add live sound to still photos, and also apply any of 12 graphic filters, which transform the picture into an unusual, stylized, art gallery photograph. The app also features Facebook and Twitter integration for sharing photos, and email connectivity for sharing audio postcards with other Tap2Cap users.
CodeCrop has updated Snap 1.1, an update to their $1.99 photography app for iOS devices. Snap turns the iPhone camera into a productivity tool: snap a photo, write as many notes as you want, move them with your finger and the picture is saved with the notes overlaid on it. You can share on Facebook, Twitter or email. With version 1.1 you can now change the color of your notes as well as the text font and size. Also added is AirPrint support so that the annotated pictures can be printed from the iPhone.
Rauf Aliev has introduced Wordrive 1.4.2, a $1.99 multilingual word puzzle game for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The goal is to put the carefully selected and ranked words in the right order to make a sentence.
SPMobile.net has updated ShakingWeb for iOS devices to version 3.1. It’s a $0.99 web browser with an anti-shake algorithm. ShakingWeb aims to position itself as a reference in reading applications, “helping users to make more comfortable the reading of web pages when they are in movement.”
Mobile OrdWiz has launched Earth Flags HD 1.8, an update to their $1.99 geographical app for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. It lets users discover national and regional flags while supplying them with statistics and information about the countries they focus on. Earth Flags HD 1.8 adds 18 new selectable locations and countries and now boasts a smaller download size.
GoodReader, the $2.99 document reader now leverages the iOS’s ability to encrypt individual files to ensure data is secure even if an iPhone or iPad is lost or stolen. With this new security measure in place, users are provided with data security with GoodReader automatically encrypting files the user has selected to secure.
Esa Helttula has updated Long Division Mathematics 1.6, a $3.99 math instruction app for the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. It can be used to teach and study the long division method.
