GoodHumans has announced Compoundee Lite, the free, ad-supported version of the Compoundee iPhone app. It’s a financial calculator that solves compound interest, annuity, and time value of money problems. Compoundee Lite provides the same features as the full version, but with a modified user interface that allows for the display of advertisements.

Richard Ebbs has released IfOnly 1.0 for the iPhone. The $0.99 app allows a user to log their Apple purchases. The app will total the value of Apple stocks that could have been purchased with the same amount of money used to purchase Apple products. IfOnly uses an extensive product list, historical share data and the current Apple share price to total up your share value.

ACME Digital Laboratories has introduced Judoku 1.0, a $2.99 Sudoku puzzle game exclusively for the iPad. Aimed at educating Jews & Gentiles alike on the basics of Jewish culture, it can be played as a traditional Sudoku game, with numbers one through nine ordered across columns and rows, or by using Jewish symbols or the Hebrew alphabet in place of numbers. The game also includes humorous explanations of the Jewish components.

Lightwood Games has launched Pop Words 1.0, their latest word game for iOS devices. It’s designed for the family audience but with harder levels to challenge avid word game fans. Pop Words is a classic word ladder set against the open skies for letter shaped balloons to float in. Pop a letter balloon to replace it with another and make a new word. Pop Words offers two games modes. It’s free. The app is supported by in-game advertising, or users can remove adverts for $1.99.

KenigArt has debuted EYE Care HD 8 v1.0, a medical application for for the iPad and iPad 2. Developed specifically for doctors, nurses, and health care professionals alike, the $3.99 app serves as a professional level medical eye diagnostic app with eight built-in charts with tests.

5 Hit Combo Entertainment has unleashed Zombie Vendetta 1.0, a casual game for iOS devices. The $0.99 app brings zombies and a hitman into traditional whack-a-mole style gameplay. Each level increases in challenge as weapons including a handgun, a shotgun, and grenades are unlocked. Players can unlock weapons and a number of achievements, as well as compete against friends on both Game Center and OpenFeint.

Mobz technologies has rolled out iSoundGrid Starters 1.0, a combined trial version of the four iSoundGrid sound effects players for the iPad. A small selection of sounds from the Cartoons, Halloween, Northpole and Kids edition have been incorporated in this free edition. The iSoundGrid product line is a family of theme based sound effects players. This free edition contains special features like pitch control, gain control, piano keyboard, timed effects and more.
