OWC announces memory upgrades for new Mac mini

Other World Computing has announced the OWC PC-8500 DDR3 1066MHz Memory Upgrade Kits up to 8GB for the new Mac mini ‘Unibody’ models introduced by Apple yesterday.

The US$149.99 OWC 4GB DDR3 Memory Module (1 x 4GB memory module) eplaces one factory installed memory module for 5GB or 6GB total RAM. This upgrade isn’t available as a factory option.

The $295.99 OWC 8GB DDR3 Memory Kit (2 x 4GB matched memory modules). This offers up to 41% lower cost than factory installed 8GB upgrade, according to the folks at OWC.
