Skydda Design has introduced the BambooBook
(http://skyddadesign.com/products/bambooBook/bambooBook.html), a case
for 13-inch Macbook Pros. It’s manufactured of bamboo and lined with
padded suede fabric.
The BambooBook measures 1 5/8 x 14 3/8 x 11 inches and weighs three
pounds, seven ounces. Even with the MacBook Pro inserted, users will
will have full operation of their laptop without having to remove it
from the case. Just set it down anywhere, open the lid and it’s ready
to go. You can plug in the computer’s AC adaptor and even access the
USB port while working within the case.
To protect the BambooBook’s polished hardwood finish, the case ships
with a formfitting vinyl cover. The cover zips around each side of
the case up to the handle for access and has a pocket to store the AC
adaptor, iPhone and other accessories.
The BambooBook is currently offered at the introductory price of
