SONiVOX announces SoundStage virtual instrument

SONiVOX (http://www.sonivoxmi.com), a virtual instrument
manufacturer, has released its latest virtual plug-in instrument,
SoundStage. It’s designed to provide a comprehensive standard palette
of instruments for composers, home studio enthusiasts, songwriters,
educators, live musicians, or anyone looking to expand their
instrumental palette.

SoundStage features over 200 instruments based loosely off of the GM
GS spec including, drums, keyboards, guitars, basses, synths, ethnic
percussion, orchestral instruments and much more, all master
programmed by legendary sound designer Jennifer Hruska.

The software comes equipped with its own virtual instrument engine
complete with a selection of special effects by SONiVOX and iZotope,
including Chorus, Delay, Reverb, and EQ, as well as easy to use
filter and envelope controls section enabling the user easy sculpting
of sounds. SoundStage has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of
US$99. It’s compatible with both Mac and PC systems as a standalone
instrument, as well as a plug-in within any VST, AU or RTAS host.
