Speakal has released the US$139.99 iPanda
(http://www.speakal.com/ipanda_overview.html), the latest in the
company’s line of audio systems with a built-in iPod docking
station. It sports five speakers that combine to deliver 25 watts of
sound.

The unique design elements enable the iPanda to produce 360 degrees
of sound, says Speakal CEO David Solomon. The speaker system boasts
adjustable bass control with Bass Reflex technology, an onboard Hi-Fi
amplifier, dynamic airflow optimizer, interior dynamic cooling
exchange and sound stabilization.

The iPanda is home to an iPod dock with various included cradles and
a standard auxiliary 3.5 mm input jack providing connectivity to most
portable and non portable audio players, gaming consoles, mobile
gaming devices, cellular phones, desktop computers, laptops and
various other devices.

It touts a patented volume control by touching the left and right
ears. The iPanda’s small footprint includes rubberized feet to
prevent rattling. The smiley mouth lights up when the iPanda is
powered on and blinks when receives commands from the remote.
