QuickBooks Pro 2007 for Mac goes Universal

Intuit today announced the upcoming release of a new version of its QuickBooks software for Mac OS X, one of the first major business applications to be developed to work efficiently on both Intel- and PowerPC-based Macs, notes the company. “Over the past several years we have continued to evolve QuickBooks Pro for Mac with a series of Mac-centric features,” said Rick Jensen, vice president of Intuit’s Home and My Business Unit. “QuickBooks Pro 2007 for Mac culminates this effort by giving Mac small business owners a competitive advantage with even more control over how they work and how they present their businesses to clients and customers.” QuickBooks Pro 2007 for Mac is available for a suggested retail price of US$199.95 and includes free callback support for 30 consecutive days after product registration, subject to conditions.
