Vvidget 10.4.11: Three Ways To Automate Graphs

Vvidget: Three Ways To Automate Graphs
May 31, 2006

VVI today announced the version 10.4.11 release of Vvidget Server, to
automate graphs for web applications, and Vvidget Code, to automate
graphs for desktop applications and dashboard widgets.

Tens of thousands of Mac users have downloaded Vvidget, making it one
of the most popular point-and-click graphing solutions for Mac OS X.
That same software is used to automate graphs for desktop
applications, dashboard widgets and web sites. Vvidget has been used
for years by Mac independent software vendors, corporate developers
and technical professionals because it is easy to use, integrates
seamlessly with the application development tools provided with Mac
OS X, is widely available with free download of the base system and
can be combined and redistributed with developer’s own applications.

Features improved in 10.4.11 include:

– Universal Binaries for both Mac Intel and Mac PowerPC computers.

– Addition of caching indirection where graphs are referenced with an
indirection. Thus the graph’s underlying data does not propagate
outside the corporate data center.

– Addition of several automation attributes as requested by customers.

– Improved reference manual and example projects.

– Several bug fixes to the template builder used to layout automation
static attributes.

Pricing And Availability:

To automate graphs for desktop applications and dashboard widgets,
Vvidget Code can now be purchased online for Commercial Use ($189) or
Educational Use ($79). For commercial redistribution with your own
application installer ($495), and for web server use, email
sales@vvi.com or call 888-VVI-PLOT.
