Elgato Systems has announced that EyeTV software, which enables users to watch, record, edit and archive television on their Macs, can now be purchased separately and used in conjunction with third-party hardware from Plextor and TerraTec. The company also adds that it is working on compatibility with additional devices. EyeTV is priced at US$79.
