Macworld Boston switches venues

IDG World Expo today announced that the Boston Macworld Conference & Expo will move to the Hynes Convention Center for its July 11-14, 2005 event. The event was previously held in the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, but “post-show analysis determined that the Hynes Convention Center is a more appropriate location and will provide an excellent customer experience for this particular event based primarily on venue size,” IDG said. “The move to the Hynes Convention Center will provide a more intimate setting for attendees and exhibitors — and this user experience is our most important consideration,” said Warwick Davies, group vice president of Macworld Conference & Expo. “We had a successful event in 2004, and we will continue to invest resources to make Macworld Conference & Expo the world’s most comprehensive Macintosh OS event.”
