CONCORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE, USA — Product experts from 4D, Inc. will
present a series of sessions on using the 4th Dimension (4D)
development environment at the OpenBase Developers Conference, in
Maui, September 2 – 6, 2004.

4D is a relational application and Web development tool providing
developers the ability to design cross-platform, standalone,
multi-user and Web server applications with unprecedented ease and
efficiency. The 4D product line includes Mac OS and Windows based
tools for development, deployment, productivity, connectivity and
Internet servers that can be used together to create fully integrated
development solutions, or as individual components.

Developers attending the sessions will learn how to become productive
quickly using 4D as a front-end development tool with OpenBase
databases to build business applications.

“4th Dimension gives developers the ability to build powerful,
flexible and secure front-end applications quickly and efficiently,”
said Brendan Coveney, president and CEO, 4D, Inc. “By integrating 4D
with OpenBase, developers gain power and ease in developing
high-performance business solutions that meet their customers’ needs.
At the OpenBase Developers Conference we will show attendees how they
can accomplish this.”

“4D is a first-class solution for building database applications,”
says Scott Keith, CTO, OpenBase International. “Our focus is on
business class database solutions, so we are delighted that they will
be part of the conference.”

of productive learning and networking.

In addition to 4D, the conference will include in-depth sessions on
OpenBase SQL, OpenScript v2.0, JDBC, WiTango, ODBC, PHP, Qilan,
