Rogue Amoeba Software today announced Audio Hijack Pro 2, a new version of its audio enhancement utility that lets you record any audio on Mac OS X. Version 2.0 will allow you to record audio to the AAC and Apple Lossless audio formats, in addition to MP3 and AIFF. The update will also include an “Output Bin” organizer, integrated line input recording, improved timers, audio file tagging (ID3), and more. Audio Hijack Pro 2 is slated for release in July for US$32. Owners of Audio Hijack Pro 1.x can upgrade for $10. The update will be free to users who purchased Audio Hijack Pro after May 1, 2004.
