Adobe, FileMaker win Codie Awards

Adobe and FileMaker did well at the 19th annual presentation of the
Software & Information Industry Association’s Codie Awards, which celebrate “the best in the software and information industry.” Adobe won the “Corporate Achievement Award” and saw its Creative Suite win the prize for “Best Business Productivity Product or Service.” FileMaker Pro 6 won the “Best Numeric/Database Application” honor. Among the many other winners, MySQL Database Server was dubbed “Best Open Source Product or Service” and Symantec’s Norton Internet Security 2004 was chosen “Best Security Product or Service.”
