Sonnet Technologies said today that it is now shipping the Tempo Serial ATA PCI host adapter, which allows Mac owners to take advantage of the market’s latest offerings in Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (SATA) storage technologies. “With data transfer rates of up to 150MBytes/sec or 1.5Gbits/sec, the product performance is that of SCSI but without the SCSI price,” the company said.
