Steve Jobs to speak at “D: All Things Digital” conference

Apple CEO Steve Jobs will be a speaker at the upcoming “D: All Things Digital” executive conference, which will be co-produced by Wall Street Journal technology columnists Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher. The event takes place in San Diego May 27-29, and will focus on the impact of digital technology in every sector of the economy and every walk of life. “At D, there will be no canned speeches, no huge panels, no sales pitches — and no PowerPoint allowed. Instead, the top leaders of the digital world will appear on stage for a series of unscripted Wall Street Journal-style interviews with Mr. Mossberg and Ms. Swisher. To promote thoughtful discussion and meaningful networking, the audience will be limited to roughly 300.” Also appearing will be Microsoft’s Bill Gates, AOL/Time Warner’s Steve Case, Google founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page, eBay’s Meg Whitman, Yahoo’s Terry Semel, and more. Early bird pricing for the conference is US$2,495, rising to $2,995 after March 28.
