NEC-Mitsubishi today announced the LCD3000, a 30-inch LCD display targeted at the information display market. The display features a resolution of 1280 x 768, a contrast ratio of 350:1, ultra-wide horizontal and vertical-viewing angles of 170-degrees, 85-degrees from all sides of the monitor, and offers a variety of input connections including a DVI-D connector, 15-pin mini D-sub connector, BNC VGA, composite video, component video, S-Video and NTSC connectors. The NEC LCD3000 will be available later this year at an estimated street price of US$4,299.
