NEC-Mitsubishi Electronics Display of America has introduced two new 15-inch flat-panel LCD monitors, the NEC MultiSync LCD1550M and LCD1550X. The LCD1550M and LCD1550X, priced at US$499 and $549 respectively, feature native resolutions of 1024×768, high-bright backlight, No Touch Auto Adjust, and a weight of 9.9 lbs with the stand. The LCD1550M also features internal multimedia capabilities and speakers, while the LCD1550X offers both DVI-I and VGA connectors as well as an ultra-wide viewing angle of 170 degrees both horizontally and vertically. The new displays will be available in both black and white configurations beginning in December.
