Epson introduces Sylus Pro 10600

Epson today announced the Stylus Pro 10600, its latest wide format printer targeted at advanced graphics professionals. The Stylus Pro 10600 uses the same high-speed print engine as the Stylus Pro 10000, allowing it to print images up to 231 square feet per hour using the printer’s fastest settings and approximately 72 square feet per hour when printing photographic output. Using a variable droplet Micro Piezo DX3 print head, the Stylus Pro 10600 creates six-color images up to 44 inches in width on a broad selection of media at 1440 x 720 dpi resolution. The Stylus Pro 10600 is also the first Epson wide format printer to offer customers the option of configuring their printer for use with Epson’s Archival Ink, Photographic Dye or UltraChrome ink. The Epson Stylus Pro 10600 will ship later this month, priced at US$9,995.
