Proteron today announced the public availability of LiteSwitch X 1.0.1, the company’s keyboard application switcher for Mac OS X. Previously, LiteSwitch X was only available to paying customers of Proteron’s OS X utility, MaxMenus. LiteSwitch X features a transparent, resizeable window which is invoked by a configurable key-combination that allows users to switch to any application; hide, quit, or force quit any application; or drag-and-drop files onto any application. Proteron is giving LiteSwitch X away for free to promote MaxMenus, the company’s flagship OS X utility. MaxMenus sells for US$29.95 and a 30-day trial version is available.
