Excite@Home has advised cable companies carrying its high-speed Internet service that their service could be discontinued, pending a judge’s ruling in a U.S. Bankruptcy Court in San Francisco on Friday, according to c|net. The service’s 4.1 million subscribers could be left without service while agreements are renegotiated with partnering cable providers.
